Licensed cook

*Luna *is Tex-Mex fusion restaurant that has a capacity of over 90 guests. We are open 7 days a week from 12pm- 9pm. We serve lunch and dinner as well as offer delivery and takeout whenever we are open. We are currently looking for part-time and full-time cooks that can work lunch and dinner service. Job Descripton * Prep (chopping, peeling, cutting) and stock cooking station with all the necessary ingredients and equipment * Prep items for your station * Line: Execute dishes with accuracy, speed, and detail; adhering to the recipes provided by the company; with attention to presentation and garnishing * Cook on the line during service times * Ascertain the quality and freshens of products * Monitor stock and log shortages as required * Keep a clean work station, including equipment and utensils; understand and abide by Health & Safety standards and Food Safe requirements * Clean down your station and write prep list for the next shift * Help the Chefs with daily kitchen duties * Saturday and Sundays required Why we should be your choice of employer: * We provide clear recipes for all our dishes * We provide tools to do your job effectively from the right whisk to well-maintained kitchens * Staff meal when working, staff meal discount when dining with us on your time off * Extended health care after working with us 6 months * Expect regular paycheques, paid overtime, holiday pay * BOH tip outs * Luna is an inclusive work environment and an equal opportunity employer * We take training seriously.
