We?re seeking a skilled *Cook* who can bring passion and creativity to our busy kitchen. *Responsibilities:* * Learn,Prepare and cook *African meals* such as jollof rice, egusi soup, suya, grilled meats, and other regional dishes * Maintain kitchen cleanliness and organization * Assist with *menu planning* and recipe consistency * Follow *food safety and hygiene standards* * Work efficiently in a *fast-paced, high-turnover environment* *Qualifications:* * Minimum *2 years of experience* cooking African or international cuisine * Excellent teamwork and communication skills * Strong work ethic and reliability * Able to work flexible shifts ? *days, evenings, weekends, and holidays* *Benefits:* * *2 weeks paid vacation* after 1 year * *1 free staff meal* per shift * *Optional Health insurance* Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent Pay: $17,000.00-$35,000.00 per year Benefits: * Extended health care Experience: * cooking: 2 years (preferred) * Culinary: 2 years (preferred) Licence/Certification: * Food Safe, SafeCheck, Food Handler or equivalent, ProServe (preferred) Work Location: In person
