Licensed cook

*Overview* This position is a temporary assignment due to a medical leave. We require an experienced cook to work Monday-Wednesday under the direction of the Chef. Menus and guidelines are set for a 40 seat dining room in an Seniors Facility. *Duties* * Prepare and cook a variety of meals following established recipes and safety guidelines * Serve food efficiently * Handle food with care, maintaining cleanliness and proper hygiene standards in all kitchen activities * Assist with food presentation and portioning to ensure consistency * Follow all food safety protocols, including proper storage, handling, and sanitation procedures *Experience* * Prior food service experience is required * Knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods beneficial * Familiarity with food handling safety standards in the food industry * Experience in meal preparation, serving, or kitchen operations is advantage Pay: $21.00 per hour Expected hours: 24.0 per week Work Location: In person
