As a room attendant, you will provide excellent guest service with a smile to all our hotel guests. You will provide all guests with a clean and comfortable guest room that meets their standard. *POSITION SUMMARY* Laundry attendants provide excellent guest service to all hotel guests. Laundry attendants also provide all guests with clean and comfortable linen. *DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES * · Provide exceptional guest service by having a positive attitude. · Operate, clean, and maintain laundry daily. · Fill closets with clean laundry. · Sort and separate soiled linens. · Perform additional tasks when required by your supervisor. *EDUCATION, SKILLS and EXPERIENCE * · Must have excellent communication skills. · Knowledge of laundry chemicals (WHMIS). · Knowledge of cleaning equipment. · Time management and priority setting skills. · Skill in speaking, reading, and writing English. *PHYSICAL DEMANDS and WORKING CONDITIONS* · Lift or move up to 40 lbs. · Stand for up to eight hours. · Wear rubber, latex, or vinyl gloves. · *Shift and weekend work required*.
