Job description
Education: No degree, certificate or diploma. Work site environment: Dusty. Noisy. Work setting: Platework fabrication plant. Metal products manufacturing company. Industrial facility or establishment. Tasks: Operate metal cleaning equipment to remove excess welds, rust, scale and other materials from surfaces of metal products. Transport items throughout plant using powered equipment. Transport raw materials, finished products and equipment throughout plant manually . Polish metal products to mirror finish. Read and interpret work orders. Security and safety: Criminal record check. Transportation/travel information: Own transportation. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Physically demanding. Manual dexterity. Attention to detail. Standing for extended periods. Weight handling: Up to 23 kg (50 lbs). Own tools/equipment: Steel-toed safety boots. Personal suitability: Dependability.
