The PEPP Employment Specialist works as part of the interdisciplinary Prevention and Early Intervention Program for Psychosis (PEPP) team to provide recovery-oriented, client-centred services to youth and young adults experiencing early psychosis.
Working collaboratively with clients, families, the PEPP team and community partners, the PEPP Specialist provides assessment, treatment, case management and practical support to help clients achieve their recovery, education, employment and community-integration goals.

WHAT WE'RE OFFERING: What you'll be making - Starting rate for this role is $27.14 per hour (Level 1 – Direct Service), with a wage differential, based on regulation ( $30.01 per hour for Level 1 – Direct Service, Regulated): Successful candidates who are registered with one of the designated professional colleges (e.g.
OCSWSSW, CNO, COTO, CRPO, CPSO, or CPO) will receive the wage differential for regulation Successful external applicants will start at Level 1, with grid progression based on seniority up to Level 8 ($34.41 per hour for non-regulated, and $37.26 per hour for regulated); for internal applicants, grid level placement will occur as per the Collective Agreement When you'll work - 70 hours biweekly; Monday to Friday, 8:30am-4:30pm, with a 1-hour unpaid meal break Your pension plan –Immediately eligible for optional enrolment in the Healthcare of Ontario Pension Plan (HOOPP) What your benefits will be – 9% in lieu of benefits HOW YOU WILL BE MAKING A DIFFERENCE: Work collaboratively with clients, families/significant others and the interdisciplinary treatment team to develop, implement and evaluate individualized recovery goals.
Provide case management and coordinate care with health care providers, schools, community agencies and other supports.
Support clients in identifying and achieving education and employment goals, including successful return to or continuation of school and work.
Support clients in developing independent living, social, coping and community-integration skills.
Engage and support families and caregivers as partners in the client's recovery, where appropriate.
Monitor client progress and changing needs and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to adjust treatment plans as required.
Facilitate referrals and connections to appropriate community resources and services.
Participate in program development, evaluation and quality-improvement activities.
Maintain timely, accurate clinical documentation in accordance with professional and organizational standards.
Work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team and participate in case conferences, team meetings and care planning.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO APPLY: Police Vulnerable Sector Check Requirements Successful candidates must have a Police Vulnerable Sector Check (PVSC) completed in the last six months.
