Industrial mechanic

• You would love to work 40 hours in 4 days and a half schedule? • You have both interest in preventive and corrective maintenance? • You are not afraid to get your hands dirty to make a good job? Here is the perfect job for you! Here?s more precisely what you will do : Corrective maintenance : • Troubleshoot issues on the machines in collaboration with the operator; • Evaluate the repair time; • Repair the different machines (Carding, Sewing, Blowing and Sealing machines mainly); • Work with a CMMS; • Suggest continuous improvement ideas to minimize machine?s down time. Preventive maintenance: • Clean daily our carding and blowing machines; • Oil and put grease on different machines; • Validate the durability of pieces and prepare a maintenance, if needed; • Work on special projects, including safety projects. Here is the detailed shift schedule : Night Shift : 3h45 PM to 1h30 AM from Monday to Thursday and 11h45 AM to 4h30 PM the Friday. Why Work with us? • 40 hours schedule in 4 days in a half; • We provide the tools, so no need to bring your own. • You will have access to a mechanic to train you on the job to be done; To be efficient while working with us, here are the requirments : • Good physical condition, since the work is always standed up; • Have some experience in mechanic; • Have a vocational diploma, or equivalent; • Have experience with a CMMS (a plus); • Have an availability in the schedule;• Availability to work on the saturday at some time for major preventive maintenance.
