With operations supporting customers around the world, DART Aerospace designs, manufactures, and supports highly specialized aerospace products in demanding operational environments. We are looking for a hands-on and mechanically skilled *Industrial Mechanic (Millwright)* to support the maintenance, reliability, and continuous operation of our manufacturing equipment. *Position Overview* The Industrial Mechanic (Millwright) is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and improving production and manufacturing equipment. This position performs both preventive and corrective maintenance, supports equipment installations and modifications, and fabricates or repairs various manufacturing equipment and components as required. The role requires strong mechanical troubleshooting abilities, a safety-focused mindset, and the ability to work independently in a manufacturing environment. *What You?ll Do* *Equipment Maintenance & Repair* * Perform maintenance and repairs on manufacturing and production equipment. * Troubleshoot mechanical equipment failures and identify root causes. * Diagnose equipment issues and determine appropriate corrective actions. * Repair, replace, adjust, and align mechanical components as required. * Respond to equipment breakdowns and support the restoration of production equipment. * Perform inspections to identify wear, damage, or potential equipment failures. * Support the installation, relocation, modification, and commissioning of manufacturing equipment. *Preventive Maintenance* * Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on production and facility equipment. * Inspect, lubricate, adjust, and replace components based on preventive maintenance schedules. * Identify potential equipment issues before they result in production downtime. * Support equipment reliability and continuous improvement initiatives. * Maintain accurate maintenance records and document completed work. *Fabrication & Equipment Improvements* * Fabricate, modify, and repair various manufacturing equipment and components. * Build or modify fixtures, guards, supports, brackets, and other production-related equipment. * Use hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment safely and effectively. * Support improvements to machinery and manufacturing equipment. * Work closely with Production, Engineering, and Operations teams to resolve equipment-related issues. *Safety & Material Handling* * Perform all work in accordance with company health and safety procedures. * Follow proper lockout/tagout procedures when servicing equipment. * Work at elevated heights when required while following fall-protection procedures. * Operate forklifts or other material-handling equipment when trained and authorized. * Use appropriate personal protective equipment. * Maintain a clean and organized work area. * Identify and report unsafe equipment, conditions, or practices. *What You Bring* * Previous experience as an *Industrial Mechanic, Millwright, Maintenance Mechanic, Industrial Maintenance Technician*, or similar role. * Experience maintaining and repairing industrial or manufacturing equipment. * Strong mechanical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. * Experience performing preventive and corrective maintenance. * Ability to use hand tools, power tools, measuring equipment, and maintenance tools. * Ability to diagnose mechanical issues and perform hands-on repairs. * Ability and willingness to work at elevated heights. * Ability to operate a forklift after appropriate training and authorization
