*Job Overview* We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Boutique Hotel Manager to oversee the daily operations of our boutique hotel. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. This role requires a proactive individual who can effectively manage staff, maintain inventory, and ensure a welcoming atmosphere for all guests. *Duties* * Recruit, train, and oversee staff in all departments to ensure high standards of customer service and operational efficiency are met. * Manage daily operations including inventory management, personnel performance, payroll, and financial accounting. * Provide exceptional guest services by addressing customer inquiries and resolving issues promptly. * Implement effective budgeting strategies to optimize sales and manage expenses. * Coordinate with external parties including suppliers, event coordinators and travel partners * Foster a positive team environment through strong leadership and communication skills. * Promoting and marketing the business, including developing ways to attract new clientele. * Maintain the hotel's appearance by ensuring cleanliness and organization at all times. * Utilize phone etiquette to handle inquiries and bookings professionally. * planning maintenance work, events, and room bookings * liaising with maintenance and other specialist contractors * meeting guests and responding to complaints and queries * handling customer complaints and queries * ensuring compliance with health and safety legislation and licensing laws. *Experience* * Previous experience in a hotel or hospitality environment is required, a minimum of 2 years. * Proficiency in customer service with a focus on guest satisfaction. * Bilingual or multilingual capabilities are highly desirable to cater to a diverse clientele however not a requirement. * Strong budgeting skills with an understanding of financial management within a retail context. * Demonstrate leadership experience with the ability to motivate and guide team members effectively. * Familiarity with front desk operations and food and beverage as well as back-of-house operations is an asset, enhancing the overall guest experience.
