An exciting opportunity to grow and strengthen your skills and work at your full scope of practice as a Health Care Aide (HCA) within a collaborative team at the Peter Lougheed Hospital. Unit 51 is a Subacute Transition Unit, primarily caring for patients awaiting Alternate Level of Care in the community. As a member of the nursing and interdisciplinary team, the HCA supports the overall provision of care as assigned, assisting the patient with activities of daily living (examples include personal care, feeding, mobility); comfort (e.g., bed positioning) and safety. The HCA will work within a CoAct model of care and work in collaboration with the care hub team in your assigned area.
