*Job Overview* We are seeking a skilled and reliable Handy Man to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a diverse set of skills in maintenance and repair, with a strong focus on customer service. This role requires a proactive individual who can handle various tasks in residential and commercial settings, ensuring that all work is completed to the highest standards. *Duties* * Perform general maintenance and repairs in residential and commercial properties. * Troubleshooting and repairs as needed. * Minor plumbing work * Interpret schematics to assist in the installation and repair of equipment. * Carry out facilities maintenance tasks to ensure operational efficiency. * Execute residential painting projects with attention to detail and quality. * Supervise and lead small teams on larger projects, ensuring safety and adherence to timelines. * Furniture assembly * Drywall repair and some plaster space. * Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their needs and project updates. * Maintain accurate records of work performed using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS). * Appliance Installation *Qualifications* * Proven experience in maintenance roles with a strong mechanical knowledge base. * Ability to read and understand technical documents, including schematics. * Previous experience in manufacturing environments is a plus. * Strong leadership skills with the ability to supervise teams effectively. * Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written. * Customer service-oriented mindset with a focus on client satisfaction. * A valid driver?s license and own car will be required for travel between job sites.
