This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your security skills while contributing to a secure community. *Duties* * Monitor premises through CCTV surveillance systems to detect suspicious activity and ensure safety protocols are followed. * Conduct regular patrols of the facility, including entrances, exits, and restricted areas to deter theft and unauthorized access. * Verify the identity of visitors, contractors, and employees by checking credentials and issuing access passes as needed. * Respond promptly to alarms or incidents, coordinating with law enforcement or emergency responders when necessary. * Implement loss prevention strategies by observing customer behavior and preventing theft or vandalism. * Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and security checks to ensure accurate record-keeping. * Enforce facility policies and procedures with professionalism and clarity, providing excellent customer service when interacting with visitors. *Qualifications* * Prior experience in law enforcement or security is highly desirable but not required; we value motivated individuals eager to learn. * Strong surveillance skills with familiarity in operating CCTV systems and other security technology. * Knowledge of loss prevention techniques to identify potential threats before they escalate. * Ability to remain alert during long shifts while maintaining a professional demeanor at all times. * Excellent communication skills for clear reporting and effective interaction with team members and visitors. * Physical fitness to stand, walk, or patrol for extended periods as needed. * Certification in security or related fields is a plus but not mandatory; training will be provided if necessary.
