* Northeastern Protection Service Inc. has provided professional security solutions for over *40 years* * A well-established and respected security company * Currently hiring *experienced Security Guards* for a site in Halifax. Availability: Must be available full time ( as the schedules are based on day, evenings and nights) *Position Summary* * Maintain a safe and secure environment for staff, visitors, and property * Monitor premises using surveillance systems and conduct regular patrols * Respond to incidents and emergencies with professionalism and vigilance * Report directly to the Patrol Supervisor and Operations Manager. *Key Responsibilities* * Monitor and patrol assigned areas to ensure site safety and security * Respond promptly to incidents and emergencies, including providing first aid when required * Enforce site rules and regulations to prevent loss or damage * Collaborate with law enforcement as needed * Maintain accurate daily logs and incident reports *Requirements* * Must be *19 years of age or older* * Minimum *Grade 12 education* * *Clean criminal record* * Valid *First Aid Certification* (must be completed through *in-person training*) * Available on weekends * Must currently reside in the *Halifax Regional Municipality* *What We Offer* * Uniforms provided * Paid training * Opportunity to join a long-standing, reputable security company Pay: From $17.00 per hour Benefits: * Dental care * Extended health care * Life insurance Application question(s): * Are you currently living in the Halifax Region as required? * Are you currently a Canadian Citizen or Permanent resident, or on work permit (State Which).
