General Manager Good Spirit Housing Authority

Good Spirit Housing Authority (GSHA), with approximately 620 units in the communities of Yorkton, Melville, and Canora, has a rewarding opportunity as General Manager to help ensure safe, affordable housing is available in all three communities. Reporting to a volunteer and enthusiastic Board, you will lead and oversee operations including third party and life lease units. Supporting you are three talented managers and 18 employees, that together effectively deliver community-based housing programs and services to seniors and low-income individuals. In addition to a minimum of five years of management experience along with a background in social work, psychology, community or human resources, you have knowledge of social housing and related programs. Experience in a unionized environment is an asset. An equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered. Most of all, you are a hands-on manager and a team player with a roll up your sleeves attitude. You are a skilled problem solver who can constantly rearrange and shift priorities. You enjoy working with people, have superb ability to multi-task, change direction and resolve conflicts. A reliable vehicle, valid SK drivers license and an approved enhanced criminal record check are required.
