General labourer - farm

Education: No degree, certificate or diploma. Work site environment: Outdoors. Viticulture. Dusty. Noisy. All weather conditions. Tasks: Clear and collect brush and debris from fields, pens and other work areas. Clear fields of wood and stones. Guide growing shoots into optimal development positions. Maintain and manage growth of vines, vine canopy and grapes. Pick row and orchard crops. Plant, cultivate and irrigate crops. Remove manually all suckers and water sprouts. Tie and secure plants. Weeding. Clean work area. Harvest crops. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Ability to work independently. Fast-paced environment. Repetitive tasks. Handling heavy loads. Physically demanding. Hand-eye co-ordination. Attention to detail. Bending, crouching, kneeling. Combination of sitting, standing, walking. Weight handling: Up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
