Job description
Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. Work site environment: Non-smoking. Air conditioned. Work setting: Retail service establishment. Retail business. On-site customer service. Gas bar. Tasks: Supervise staff (apprentices, stages hands, design team, etc.). Assign sales workers to duties. Hire and train or arrange for training of staff. Teach interest or professional development courses. Order merchandise. Authorize return of merchandise. Establish work schedules. Sell merchandise. Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising and personnel matters. Organize and maintain inventory. Supervise and co-ordinate activities of workers. Manage cash. Oversee payroll administration. Conduct performance reviews. Supervise office and volunteer staff. Supervision: 3-4 people. Area of specialization: Retail store. Security and safety: Criminal record check. Transportation/travel information: Own transportation. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Work under pressure. Attention to detail. Combination of sitting, standing, walking.
