Job description

Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. or equivalent experience. Work setting: Fast moving consumer goods (FMCG). Urban area. Willing to relocate. Tasks: Develop production schedules and duty assignments to ensure proper functioning. Evaluate daily operations . Maintain an inventory of raw materials and finished products to prevent shortages. Plan and organize daily operations. Develop equipment maintenance schedules and recommend the replacement of machines. Direct quality control inspections. Hire, supervise and train or oversee training of employees in the use of new equipment or production techniques. Organize and maintain inventory. Plan and implement changes to machinery and equipment, production systems and methods of work. Supervision: 3-4 people. 5-10 people. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Safe quality foods (SQF) Certificate. Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate. Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM). First Aid Certificate. CPR Certificate. Hazard Analysis and Criticial Control Points (HACCP) Certification. Knowledge of the Canadian Food Inspection Agency. Computer and technology knowledge: Mac OS. Electronic scheduler. Project management software. Inventory control software. Monitoring and tracking software. Spreadsheet. Internet. MS Excel. Type of industry experience: Beverage. Food. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Fast-paced environment. Work under pressure.
