Job description
Adecco is currently hiring a Financial Analyst, Accounts Payable for a growing finance team in Toronto, ON. This role is ideal for professionals with experience in accounts payable, financial reporting, reconciliations, ERP systems, and month-end accounting.
As a member of the Finance team, you will support full-cycle accounts payable operations, financial analysis, reporting activities, ERP-related initiatives, and continuous process improvements.
• Pay Rate: $50,000 - $70,000/year
• Location: Toronto, ON
• Shift: Monday to Friday | Hybrid work model with 3 days in office
• Job type: Temporary 1 year with possibility of extension | Full-time

Responsibilities:
• Manage full-cycle accounts payable, including invoice processing, vendor payments, expense reports, credit card reconciliations, and payment administration.
• Monitor outstanding payables, investigate discrepancies, and ensure timely payments.
• Prepare and reconcile general ledger accounts, accruals, journals, and month-end reporting.
• Support financial analysis, forecasting, variance reviews, and expenditure tracking.
• Prepare financial reports, HST filings, and supporting documentation.
• Assist with audits and maintain compliance with financial policies and controls.
• Support Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes and identify opportunities for process improvements.
• Participate in ERP implementation, testing (UAT), data validation, and system optimization initiatives.
• Assist with SOP documentation, user training materials, and financial system support.
Qualifications and Skills:
• Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of accounting, accounts payable, or financial analysis experience.
• Experience with month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
• Experience supporting ERP systems such as SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, QuickBooks, or similar platforms.
• Public sector, government, healthcare, education, or broader public sector experience is considered an asset.
• Strong knowledge of accounts payable, financial controls, GAAP, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel and strong Microsoft Office skills.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Must be able to successfully complete a background and credit check.
• Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
