*Job Overview* We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Financial Controller to lead our finance team and oversee all accounting operations. This pivotal role involves managing financial reporting, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and driving strategic financial planning. Your proactive approach will empower the organization to make informed decisions and achieve its financial objectives with confidence. *Responsibilities* * Oversee all accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger management. * Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards. * Manage account reconciliation processes to verify the integrity of financial data across various systems. * Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, and other platforms to streamline financial operations. * Conduct detailed account analysis to identify discrepancies, trends, and opportunities for process improvements. * Lead budgeting activities by developing forecasts, monitoring variances, and providing insights to support strategic planning. * Ensure timely completion of tax filings and adherence to regulatory requirements related to financial reporting. *Requirements* * Proven experience in accounting or finance roles with a strong understanding of accounting principles and practices. * Demonstrated proficiency with accounting software including QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, and other relevant tools. * Solid knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll processing, and account reconciliation procedures. * Ability to perform detailed account analysis and generate insightful reports for management review. * Experience in budgeting, financial forecasting, and variance analysis to support organizational goals. * Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently. * Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively across departments and present complex financial information clearly.
