About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Contract Field Operator to support safe, reliable, and efficient day-to-day operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring production and process equipment, conducting field inspections, identifying operational issues, and performing routine operating activities in accordance with company procedures, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
Key Responsibilities
Monitor and operate oil and gas production, processing, and associated field equipment.
Conduct routine field inspections and equipment rounds.
Record and report production volumes, operating parameters, and equipment conditions.
Start up, shut down, and adjust equipment and process systems as required.
Identify abnormal operating conditions, equipment deficiencies, leaks, and potential safety hazards.
Perform routine operational maintenance and minor troubleshooting within the scope of the position.
Coordinate with maintenance, instrumentation, engineering, and other field personnel.
Support planned maintenance, turnaround, commissioning, and field projects as required.
Complete operating logs, checklists, work orders, and other required documentation accurately.
Respond appropriately to alarms, equipment upsets, and emergency situations.
Follow all company safety, environmental, regulatory, and operating procedures.
Participate in safety meetings, toolbox talks, inspections, and incident-prevention activities.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
