Farm labourer - harvesting

Education: No degree, certificate or diploma. Asset languages: Spanish; Castilian. Work site environment: Other vegetables and melon farming (except potato). Hot. Dirty. Work setting: Rural area. Relocation costs not covered by employer. Tasks: Apply fertilizers. Cut agricultural crops. Divide fresh harvested produce into marketable lots and non-marketable lots. Grade vegetables and fruits into different grades according to the size, shape, colour and volume to fetch high price in market.. Greenhouse cleaning. Hand harvesting vegetables. Pack fruits and vegetables. Pick row and orchard crops. Remove manually all suckers and water sprouts. Tie and secure plants. Write daily basic progress reports. Clean work area. Harvest crops. Load, unload and transfer crates, supplies and farm produce, livestock and poultry. Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment. Detect disease and health problems in crops, livestock and poultry. Examine product for quality and its readiness for the market. Transportation/travel information: Own transportation.
