Excavator operator

We?re looking for motivated individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment and are eager to contribute their skills to exciting construction projects. *Responsibilities* * Operate excavators safely and efficiently to perform sorting rip rap and loading * Conduct routine inspections of equipment to ensure optimal functioning and report any maintenance issues promptly * Follow detailed instructions from site supervisors to complete excavation plans accurately and on time * Maintain a clean work area by properly securing equipment after use and adhering to safety protocols at all times * Collaborate with team members to coordinate tasks, ensuring smooth workflow and project progression * Demonstrate mechanical knowledge of heavy equipment including Caterpillar models and other industry-standard machinery *Qualifications* * Proven experience operating excavators in a construction environment with a strong understanding of heavy equipment operation principles * Mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot basic issues on excavators and other heavy equipment * Valid commercial driver?s license (CDL) or equivalent certification for operating certain machinery or transporting equipment is preferred * Familiarity with construction safety standards and procedures to maintain a safe work environment * Ability to pass a drug test is required Join us in building something great!
