Electrician

*Overview* Job is located throughout the GTHA. We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Electrician to join our small family run service business. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical work, including experience in residential settings and renovation projects. Good communication skills required. *Responsibilities* * Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in accordance with local codes and regulations. * Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine layout of electrical systems. * Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to complete installations and repairs. * Troubleshoot electrical issues and perform necessary repairs on low voltage systems. * Collaborate with construction teams during renovation projects to ensure electrical installations meet project specifications. * Work with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) for automation tasks as needed. * Ensure all work is performed safely and efficiently while adhering to safety protocols. *Experience* * Proven experience as an Electrician, preferably in a residential and commercial environment. * Strong understanding of electrical systems, including low voltage applications. * Experience using hand tools, power tools, and other equipment related to electrical work. * Previous maintenance person experience is beneficial but not required.
