Electrical Project Purchaser

NorTec Electric Ltd. is a growing electrical contractor serving Saskatoon, Regina, and communities across Saskatchewan. We are seeking a motivated Purchaser to join our team and support current and future construction projects throughout the province. Working closely with Project Managers, Superintendents, field staff, suppliers, and subcontractors, the successful candidate will be responsible for material procurement, vendor coordination, and project support. Responsibilities: -Process material requisitions and purchase orders -Source and purchase materials at competitive pricing -Coordinate and track deliveries to project sites -Manage supplier communications and material returns -Maintain purchasing records and shipment documentation -Assist with material take-offs, pricing, scheduling, and logistics -Support project teams and perform other duties as assigned Qualifications: -Experience in purchasing, procurement, or administration -Strong Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, Outlook) -Excellent organization, communication, and attention to detail -Strong problem-solving abilities and ability to manage multiple priorities -Able to work independently and as part of a team Assets: -Construction industry experience -Knowledge of construction materials and purchasing practices -Familiarity with electrical contracting projects We are looking for the right fit and are willing to provide training for a motivated individual who is eager to learn and grow with our team.
