Dump truck driver

*Overview* Brona Transport is currently seeking an experienced and safety-focused Dump Truck Driver to transport construction materials across the Maritimes. This is a full-time, permanent position offering stable, year-round work and competitive compensation. *Responsibilities* * Operate dump truck safely and efficiently to transport construction materials * Perform pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections (tires, brakes, lights, signals, etc.) * Complete and maintain accurate logbooks (electronic or manual) * Prepare and manage transportation documentation (e.g., bills of lading) * Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers * Ensure compliance with all safety and transportation regulations *Requirements* * Valid Class 1 Commercial Driver?s License * Clean Driver?s Abstract * Minimum 2 years of driving experience, including at least 1 year operating a dump truck * Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety * Ability to work independently and follow instructions *Experience* * Proven experience operating dump trucks in a commercial setting. * Knowledge of heavy equipment operation including forklifts is preferred. * Familiarity with freight handling and transportation regulations is essential. * Experience with automotive repair or basic mechanical troubleshooting is a plus. * Valid commercial driver?s license (CDL) with clean driving record required. * Prior experience working with heavy machinery or construction materials is advantageous.
