TriSon Farms International is looking for experienced full time AZ drivers. Job Description *POSITION SUMMARY:* The AZ Driver assumes the following responsibilities: * Transport product from growers and suppliers to the warehouse, or vice versa. * Safely operate company truck in compliance with all MTO regulations and maintain a valid AZ license with a clean driving record. * Perform pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections of the vehicle and trailer, documenting and reporting any defects as required. * Ensure driver logs are accurately completed and compliant with Hours of Service regulations. * Maintain cleanliness of assigned truck, including cab interior and exterior of vehicle. * Communicate vehicle mechanical problems, defects, or damages to supervisor immediately and follow proper reporting procedures. * Fill out BOLs, logs, packing slips, and other required documentation in accordance with TriSon Farms policies and regulatory requirements. * Back into docks and maneuver trailers safely in tight spaces, ensuring proper alignment in designated areas. * Secure loads properly using straps, load bars, or other equipment to prevent shifting or damage during transport. * Ensure cargo is transported under proper conditions (e.g., temperature control for produce) and monitor reefer units if applicable. * Obtain necessary signatures from receivers upon delivery and verify accuracy of shipments. * Comply with all applicable transportation laws, including weight limits, permits, and border crossing requirements if applicable. * Adhere to company policies and procedures to ensure compliance with OHSA, Food Safety, WSIB, CFIA, USDA, and all provincial and federal laws. * Maintain professional conduct when interacting with customers, suppliers, and the public while representing the company. * Assist with Shipping and Receiving Team Member duties when not out on deliveries or pickups. * Receive incoming shipments in a timely fashion while adhering to TriSon Shipping and Receiving procedures and policies. * Follow allocation instructions to load and secure produce properly. * Accurately count and verify product against BOLs and other documentation. * Stage and receive orders using TriSon Shipping and Receiving policies and procedures as a guideline. * Adhere to all safety and quality policies and procedures. * Other duties as assigned. *ADDITIONAL SKILLS:* * Good judgement with the ability to make timely and sound decisions * Good written and oral communication skills with an attention to detail * Must possess valid AZ license and good driving record * At least 2+ years of previous experience driving with a AZ license * Valid passport or FAST card considered an asset Job Type: Full-time Pay: From $25.00 per hour Work Location: In person
