Job description
Education: No degree, certificate or diploma. Tasks: Address customers' complaints or concerns. Professionalism in customer service. Arrange travel, related itineraries and make reservations. Drive as part of a two-person team or convoy. Load and unload goods. Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment. Perform preventive maintenance. Receive and relay information to central dispatch. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Class 5/5F/G Licence (cars, small trucks and other 2-axle vehicles). First Aid Certificate. Documentation knowledge: Accident or incident reports. Bill of lading. Inspection report (pre-trip, en-route, post-trip). Maintenance and repair reports. Communication systems experience: Operate GPS (Global Positioning System) and other navigation equipment. Transportation/travel experience: Local. Regional. Security and safety: Bondable. Driver's validity licence check. Driving record check (abstract). Transportation/travel information: Valid driver's licence. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Attention to detail. Handling heavy loads. Large workload. Physically demanding. Repetitive tasks. Weight handling: More than 45 kg (100 lbs). Own tools/equipment: Cellular phone. Steel-toed safety boots.
