Reporting to the Program Manager, the incumbent will provide nutrition screening, assessment, counseling and health education as a member of the interdisciplinary health team and in accordance with accepted clinical practice guidelines for Registered Dietitians. The incumbent will work collaboratively with family physicians and other members of the health care team to provide comprehensive nutritional services to patients, both individual and group, and Is a resource to the clinical team. They will share their expertise and knowledge of health promotion, disease prevention and chronic disease management with QFHT patients, physicians, residents and allied health staff.
