Adecco is currently hiring a Tool & Die Maker to support the construction, repair, maintenance, and modification of stamping dies, tooling, fixtures, gauges, and precision machined components in Scarborough, ON. This role is ideal for candidates with experience in tool and die, precision machining, stamping operations, die repair, tooling maintenance, and manual machining equipment. As a Tool & Die Maker, you will play a key role in supporting manufacturing operations by building, troubleshooting, repairing, and improving production tooling while ensuring all components meet quality and dimensional specifications. • Pay Rate: $25.00/hour • Location: Scarborough, ON • Job type: Permanent | Full-time • Vacancy Status: This posting is for an existing vacancy. Responsibilities: Tool & Die Maintenance • Build, repair, modify, and maintain stamping dies, fixtures, gauges, and tooling. • Troubleshoot tooling issues and support production requirements. • Fabricate replacement parts and repair machine components as required. • Improve existing tooling to enhance quality and productivity. Precision Machining • Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications. • Plan machining operations and determine appropriate tooling and materials. • Set up and operate manual machine tools including mills, lathes, grinders, and related equipment. • Perform precision measurements and inspections to verify dimensional accuracy. • Monitor machining processes and make adjustments to maintain tolerances. Quality & Continuous Improvement • Assemble, fit, and test dies, fixtures, and tooling components. • Inspect completed work using precision measuring instruments. • Collaborate with Engineering, Maintenance, and Production teams to resolve tooling challenges. • Maintain a safe, organized, and efficient work environment. • Follow all quality, safety, and manufacturing procedures. Qualifications and Skills: • Tool & Die Maker Certificate (433A) or equivalent experience preferred. • Experience building, repairing, and maintaining stamping dies and tooling. • Strong knowledge of precision machining and tool room practices. • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints. • Experience operating manual mills, lathes, grinders, and precision machining equipment. • Proficiency with measuring instruments and inspection tools. • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills. • Ability to work independently and within a team environment. • Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement. • Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada Are you interested in this position?
