This position is perfect for motivated professionals seeking flexible hours and a supportive work environment. *Responsibilities* * Perform professional dental cleanings, including scaling, polishing, and fluoride treatments to promote optimal oral health. * Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care to ensure lasting results. * Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) while adhering to safety protocols. * Assist with patient examinations by recording medical histories and updating dental records using Dentrix or similar practice management software. * Collaborate with dentists and dental assistants to ensure smooth patient flow and high-quality care delivery. * Maintain a clean, organized treatment area following infection control standards and OSHA regulations. * Support patient comfort by explaining procedures clearly and addressing questions with professionalism and empathy. *Requirements* * Valid state licensure as a Dental Hygienist with current certification to practice. * Experience working in a dental office setting, preferably with Dentrix or similar software. * Strong knowledge of dental assisting techniques, medical terminology, and infection control procedures. * Bilingual abilities are a plus to serve diverse patient populations effectively. * Familiarity with orthodontics, pediatrics, or general dentistry is highly desirable. * Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and compassionately. * Prior experience in a busy dental practice combined with a proactive attitude toward patient care.
