Job description
Job Summary ZANN Dental Laboratory is looking for an experienced *Dental Ceramist* to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience creating high-quality, natural-looking porcelain restorations and a strong understanding of dental anatomy, esthetics, and shade matching. You will work closely with our design, milling, and quality control teams to ensure restorations meet our clinical and esthetic standards and are completed accurately and on time. Responsibilities * Layer, stain, glaze, and finish porcelain on *zirconia, PFM, and e.max/lithium disilicate restorations* * Match shade, translucency, characterization, and overall esthetics according to prescriptions, shade tags, and clinical photographs * Adjust contacts, occlusion, contours, emergence profiles, and surface texture as required * Evaluate restorations for fit, function, esthetics, and overall quality before completion * Identify and correct issues to ensure restorations meet laboratory and clinical standards * Communicate with the design, milling, and QC teams regarding case details, adjustments, and remakes * Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient porcelain work area * Properly maintain equipment, instruments, and materials * Manage assigned cases efficiently while meeting production schedules and deadlines Requirements * *5?6+ years of experience* as a Dental Ceramist or Porcelain Technician * Strong knowledge of *dental anatomy, morphology, shade matching, and esthetics* * Hands-on experience with *porcelain layering and characterization techniques* * Ability to consistently produce natural-looking and highly esthetic restorations * Strong attention to detail and quality * Ability to work efficiently in a production-based laboratory environment * Good communication and teamwork skills * Ability to prioritize multiple cases and meet deadlines Assets * Experience working with *digital CAD/CAM workflows* * Experience with *implant restorations* * Experience with full-contour and layered zirconia * Formal Dental Technology education or certification, such as a *Dental Technology diploma or CDT certification* * Experience working with digital case submissions and intraoral scan files What We Offer * A collaborative and professional laboratory environment * Opportunity to work with both *digital and traditional dental laboratory workflows* * Exposure to a variety of restorative and implant cases * A team-focused environment with opportunities to grow your technical and esthetic skills Pay: $20.00-$35.00 per hour Expected hours: 20.0 ? 40.0 per week Work Location: In person
