This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to grow your career in a vibrant retail environment dedicated to enhancing vision and confidence. *Responsibilities* * Engage with customers to understand their eyewear needs, preferences, and lifestyle requirements. * Educate clients on different types of lenses, frames, and optical technologies, including medical terminology related to eye health. * Assist in selecting appropriate eyewear options by considering face shape, style preferences, and prescription specifications. * Support laboratory processes such as lens fitting, adjustments, and quality checks to ensure optimal product performance. * Maintain comprehensive product knowledge of optical brands, Epic software systems, and retail management tools to streamline sales transactions. * Provide excellent customer service by answering questions, demonstrating product features, and guiding clients through the purchasing process. * Collaborate with team members to meet sales goals and uphold store standards for visual merchandising and cleanliness. *Qualifications* * Previous experience in optical retail sales or a related field is highly preferred. * Familiarity with medical terminology associated with eye care and laboratory procedures is a plus. * Hands-on laboratory experience with lens fitting or adjustments enhances your ability to serve customers effectively. * Strong understanding of retail management systems such as Epic or similar platforms is advantageous. * Excellent communication skills combined with a friendly, energetic attitude to connect with diverse customers. * Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. * Experience in retail management or supervisory roles is beneficial for those interested in career advancement within the team.
