Chinatown, Vancouver, BC* *Job type:* Full-time, Part-time *Pay:* $18.25 per hour *Work location:* In person About Us Kam Wai Dim Sum is a family-run business offering frozen dim sum, hot food to go, and a small dine-in area. We are seeking friendly, dependable team members who take pride in customer service and maintaining a clean, organized store. Responsibilities * Greet customers, answer product questions, and take orders. * Operate the POS system and handle payments accurately. * Pack hot food, frozen products, and online orders. * Receive deliveries and replenish stock. * Check product dates and follow first-in, first-out procedures. * Keep counters, displays, dining areas, and workspaces clean. * Complete daily duties, sanitation checklists, and opening or closing tasks. * Communicate with the kitchen and support teammates during busy periods. Requirements * *Full-time:* Availability for 5 days per week and up to 40 hours. * *Part-time:* Availability for at least 3 days per week and a minimum of 20 hours. * Availability for weekends and opening or closing shifts. * Dependable attendance, punctuality, and consistent availability. * Strong customer service, communication, and teamwork skills. * Ability to follow instructions, multitask, and take initiative. * Ability to perform duties involving extended standing and safe stock handling, with accommodation where needed. * Willingness to follow food safety and workplace policies and wear slip-resistant shoes. * Previous food service or retail experience is an asset; training is provided. * Cantonese or Mandarin language skills are an asset.
