Customer service representative - call centre

Carlson Truck Outfitters is hiring a dedicated Customer Service Representative to join our team! Reporting to the Shop Manager, the CSR plays a critical role in supporting both customer satisfaction and operational success. The role assists with coordinating service-related activities, administrative processes, and facilitates communication between customers, suppliers, management, and the shop team. Success in this position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to balance customer service with business operations in a fast-paced environment. *Responsibilities:* * Greet and assist customers through face-to-face, phone, and email interactions, * Engage with customers to understand their needs and offer customized solutions, * Keep customers informed regarding the status of their orders, * Book in jobs and ensure the schedule is full, * Prepare and manage customer files throughout the life cycle of the work, * Order, receive, and return parts as needed, * Take payments and ensure outstanding payments are looked into, * Assist with month end reporting, * Assist the Shop Manager with other duties as assigned. *Qualifications:* * Customer service, retail, or automotive experience preferred. * Knowledge of truck accessories, Line-X, or Rust Check is an asset (training provided). * Strong communication, multitasking, and organizational skills. * Basic computer skills (POS systems, email, scheduling software). * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail. *Why Choose Carlson Truck Outfitters?:* * Monday - Friday, full time hours. * Full benefits package after 3 months. * RRSP program after 1 year. * Competitive compensation based on experience. * Annual performance review. * Career planning and advancement opportunities.
