Apply today and bring your culinary skills to an exciting opportunity in beautiful Gold River, BC! • Pay Rate: $25.00/hour • Location: Gold River, BC • Job type: Permanent | Full-time Responsibilities: • Prepare ingredients according to recipes and menu specifications • Cook and plate menu items while maintaining high standards of quality, taste, and presentation • Keep workstations clean, organized, and service-ready throughout each shift • Assist with inventory monitoring and report stock shortages as needed • Follow portion control guidelines to ensure consistency and cost management • Support daily opening and closing kitchen duties • Assist with testing and preparing new menu items when required • Adhere to all food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety standards • Collaborate effectively with kitchen team members to ensure efficient service • Handle waste and recycling in accordance with sustainability practices • Contribute to a positive, respectful, and team-oriented workplace culture Qualifications and Skills: • Minimum 3 years of experience as a Cook in a fast-paced kitchen environment • Strong knowledge of food preparation, safe food handling, sanitation, and kitchen safety practices • FOODSAFE Level 2 Certification or willingness to obtain • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality • Strong work ethic and ability to work efficiently under pressure • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (rural location) • Ability to successfully pass a criminal background check • Commitment to environmentally responsible and sustainable practices • Experience working with locally sourced ingredients • Ability to thrive in a collaborative, team-focused environment • Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada Why Apply? • Competitive pay at $25/hour • Opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive kitchen environment • Contribute to a unique culinary experience that celebrates local ingredients and community values •
