Senior Manager, Strategic Initiatives & Community Impact (Marketing & Communications)
Be part of impactful global initiatives within the sector of insurance for our client. Work alongside senior stakeholders, contribute to meaningful community and brand programs, and help drive initiatives that create lasting value for customers, communities, and colleagues.
What is in it for you:
? Salaried: $60-65 per hour.
? Incorporated Business Rate: $70-75 per hour.
? 12-month contract with the potential for permanent employment.
? 37.5-hour work week, from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm.
? Hybrid work with in-office days Tuesday to Thursday.
? Occasional Monday evening calls, approximately 1-2 times per month.
Responsibilities:
? Lead the planning and execution of strategic global initiatives.
? Develop project plans, timelines, governance frameworks, and success metrics.
? Manage stakeholder communications and alignment activities.
? Facilitate working sessions and decision-making forums.
? Track budgets, risks, dependencies, and project milestones.
? Coordinate activities across multiple regions and business functions.
? Identify opportunities for process improvements and operational efficiencies.
? Support the activation and execution of community investment and engagement programs.
? Lead and deliver large-scale global initiatives across Community Investment, Brand, colleague engagement, and customer trust programs.
? Manage strategic planning, stakeholder engagement, governance, risk management, program optimization, and execution activities to support measurable business and community impact.
What you will need to succeed:
Required qualifications
? Bachelor?s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Corporate Affairs, Social Impact, or a related field.
? 10+ years of experience leading complex strategic initiatives, programs, or enterprise-wide projects.
? Strategic program and project management experience leading large-scale, complex initiatives.
? Advanced stakeholder management and cross-functional leadership experience within global organizations.
? Proven ability to develop and execute strategic plans, governance frameworks, budgets, risk management activities, and performance measurement processes.
Preferred qualifications
? Experience in Community Investment, Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), Social Impact, or Corporate Affairs.
? Experience in Brand, Marketing, Communications, or Employee Engagement initiatives.
? Experience leading large-scale global transformation or enterprise projects.
? Experience working within complex matrix organizations.
? Experience managing global transformation initiatives within large matrix organizations.
? Background within the banking or insurance industry.
Soft skills
? Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills.
? Strong problem-solving, critical-thinking, and decision-making abilities.
? Ability to influence stakeholders and drive alignment without formal authority.
