Job description

Education: No degree, certificate or diploma. Work site environment: Non-smoking. Work setting: Cleaning service company. Tasks: Sweep, mop, wash and polish floors. Dust furniture. Vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies and upholstered furniture. Clean, disinfect and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances. Disinfect operating rooms and other areas. Clean and disinfect elevators. Handle and report lost and found items. Provide basic information on facilities. Pick up debris and empty trash containers. Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties. Wash windows, walls and ceilings. Security and safety: Criminal record check. Transportation/travel information: Own transportation. Own vehicle. Willing to travel. Valid driver's licence. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Ability to work independently. Fast-paced environment. Work under pressure. Tight deadlines. Repetitive tasks. Handling heavy loads. Physically demanding. Attention to detail. Bending, crouching, kneeling. Combination of sitting, standing, walking. Sitting. Standing for extended periods. Walking.
