Certified Diabetes Nurse Educator

The Prince Albert Grand Council is now accepting applications for a half-time Certified Diabetes Nurse Educator. The successful applicant will be responsible for the diabetes education delivery in PAGCs ADI Communities. The successful applicant will be an integral member of an exciting health care team and must possess the following: Qualifications: Registered Nurse eligible for registration with CRNS At least two years experience preferably in diabetes education, community health and/or health education An excellent understanding of diabetes prevention and management strategies and ability to plan, implement and evaluate new and existing diabetes programming Excellent communication skills as they relate to individual counselling, group education and interaction with other health care professionals Strong assessment, organizational and pr...
