Certified dental assistant

We are looking for a motivated, detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced setting and is passionate about promoting oral health. *Responsibilities* * Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments to ensure a safe and efficient workspace * Assist dentists during a variety of procedures, including fillings, extractions, orthodontics, and pediatrics * Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) * Manage patient records using dental software such as Dentrix and Epic, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality * Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care instructions *Qualifications* * Valid certification as a Dental Assistant from an accredited program * Experience with dental software platforms such as Abeldent and Dentrix is highly preferred * Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to dentistry and orthodontics * Familiarity with pediatric dentistry practices to effectively assist with children?s treatments * Basic understanding of CAD technology used in digital imaging and treatment planning * Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and patients * Previous experience in dental assisting within orthodontics or pediatrics is a plus Join us to make a difference in people?s smiles!
