A positive attitude and the ability to communicate well with customers are essential for success in this position. *Responsibilities* * Greet customers warmly and provide assistance as needed. * Accurately process sales transactions using the cash register. * Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions with precision. * Maintain knowledge of products and services to effectively upsell and promote sales. * Provide information about products, including technology sales, to enhance customer experience. * Ensure the checkout area is clean, organized, and well-stocked. * Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly. * Demonstrate strong phone etiquette when handling customer calls. * Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient store operations. *Experience* * Previous experience as a cashier or in a retail environment is preferred but not required. * Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and transaction processing. * Familiarity with technology sales is a plus; experience in technical sales is advantageous. * Bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly desirable for effective communication with diverse customers. * Strong time management skills to handle peak hours efficiently. * Ability to upsell products and services effectively.
