We offer hands?on training, a supportive team, and opportunities to grow your skills in customer service and retail operations. *Key Responsibilities* * Greet customers warmly and assist with their shopping needs to create a positive, helpful experience * Operate the POS system accurately, including cash handling, debit/credit transactions, returns, and exchanges * Provide product information and recommendations to support customer decision?making * Maintain merchandising standards by stocking shelves, organizing displays, and ensuring the sales floor is clean and presentable * Answer customer inquiries in person and over the phone with professionalism and clear communication * Support store operations by completing tasks efficiently during busy periods and managing multiple priorities * Uphold Home Hardware?s commitment to friendly service, product knowledge, and community values *Qualifications* * Previous retail or cashier experience is an asset, but not required?positive attitude and willingness to learn are most important * Strong communication skills in English; bilingual abilities are an advantage * Basic math skills and comfort handling cash with accuracy * Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling, or merchandising is helpful * Friendly, approachable, and customer?focused demeanor * Ability to multitask, stay organized, and work effectively in a team environment * Comfortable learning about products and explaining features to customers Pay: $17.30-$18.00 per hour Expected hours: 32.0 ? 40.0 per week Benefits: * Dental care * Flexible schedule * On-site parking * Paid time off * Store discount * Vision care Work Location: In person
