Job description
*Job Summary* We are seeking a skilled and motivated Carpenter to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for constructing, installing, repairing, and maintaining structures and fixtures using a variety of hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment. Your expertise will contribute to high-quality building projects, ensuring safety, precision, and durability. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects that challenge your craftsmanship and technical skills while fostering a collaborative team environment. *Responsibilities* * Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute construction plans. * Construct frameworks, walls, floors, ceilings, and other structural components using wood, concrete forms, drywall, siding, and related materials. * Operate heavy equipment such as forklifts or cranes safely to assist in lifting and positioning heavy materials. * Perform concrete finishing tasks including pouring, leveling, and smoothing concrete surfaces for foundations or floors. * Install siding, drywall, or other exterior/interior finishes with precision to meet project specifications. * Use hand tools and power tools efficiently for cutting, shaping, assembling, and securing materials. * Conduct restoration projects by repairing or replacing damaged structures or fixtures while adhering to safety standards. * Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and quality standards throughout each phase of construction. *Qualifications* * Proven construction experience with a strong background in carpentry techniques. * Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately. * Skilled in drywall installation, concrete forming and finishing, siding installation, and woodworking. * Proficient in operating hand tools, power tools, heavy equipment, and welding equipment as needed. * Capable of heavy lifting and performing physically demanding tasks safely. * Knowledge of construction safety protocols and OSHA regulations. * Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail to ensure precise craftsmanship. * Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to follow detailed instructions effectively.
