Carpenter

Headway Construction is growing and we?re looking for a *skilled Carpenter* to run residential renovation projects on site. This is a *hands-on role* for someone who leads by example and takes pride in high-quality framing and finishes. What You?ll Do * Act as the *main point of contact on site* between field staff and the office * Communicate professionally with homeowners when required * Coordinate schedules and sequencing with *other trades* * Place material orders and ensure site readiness * Distribute daily tasks to crew members based on skill level * Mentor and develop apprentices * Perform *daily safety inspections* and ensure site compliance * Resolve site issues quickly and effectively * *Perform hands-on work 85%+ of the time*, including: * Framing * Drywall & taping * Painting * Tile installation * Trim & finish carpentry * Door installation * General residential renovation work What We?re Looking For * *3+ years experience as a General Carpenter* * Proven track record of *high-quality completed projects* * Strong skills in framing and interior finishes * Red Seal certification *considered a strong asset* * Ability to communicate clearly with *foreign workers* * Excellent problem-solving and leadership skills * Reliable, organized, and detail-oriented Why Work With Headway * Steady, well-planned renovation projects * Professional team and clear communication * Opportunity to lead, grow, and shape a crew * Competitive pay based on experience and skill *Apply on Indeed.* Only qualified candidates will be contacted.
