Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. Tasks: Prepare estimates of labour and/or material costs. Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials. Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings and hardware. Survey building locations and levels. Supervise other workers. Estimate costs and materials. Maintain, repair and renovate residences and wooden structures in mills, mines, hospitals, industrial plants and other establishments. Supervision: 1 to 2 people. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Combination of sitting, standing, walking. Large workload. Physically demanding. Tight deadlines. Personal suitability: Accurate. Reliability. Team player. Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years.
