Building maintenance technician

Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. or equivalent experience. Work setting: Urban area. Various locations. Commercial building. Residential. Construction site. Restaurant. Construction. Tasks: Make adjustments and minor repairs to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing and electrical systems, and contact tradespersons for major repairs. Contact contractors for repairs and maintenance of the establishment. Perform minor repairs on appliances. Perform safety and security checks. Supervise other workers. Perform other routine maintenance jobs such as painting and drywall repair. Work with minimal supervision. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Work under pressure.
