Brand ambassador

*Join Terra Foods and help customers discover one of Canada's fastest-growing premium specialty food brands.* Terra Foods is a proudly Canadian food distributor representing a variety of premium brands found in grocery and specialty retail stores across Western Canada. We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and engaging *Brand Ambassador* to represent our Dalla Terra product line through in-store sampling events at select grocery retailers throughout Edmonton & surrounding area. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who loves food, enjoys meeting people, and is comfortable creating a welcoming and memorable customer experience. *About the Role* As a Dalla Terra Brand Ambassador, you will introduce customers to a delicious assortment of premium antipastos, stuffed peppers, olives, crackers, and other specialty foods through organized in-store tasting events. You will be the face of the brand, helping customers learn about the products, answer questions, and encourage trial and purchase. We are looking for someone who is warm, approachable, confident, and naturally enjoys conversations with a wide range of customers. *Responsibilities* * Set up and maintain an attractive sampling station * Prepare and serve product samples following food safety guidelines * Engage customers and share product knowledge * Encourage product trial and drive sales * Keep the demo area clean, organized, and professional * Capture basic event photos and videos using a smartphone * Provide post-event feedback and reporting *Schedule* * Fridays and/or Saturdays * Seasonal position running through Christmas * Typical shifts range from 4-6 hours * Travel to grocery stores throughout the Edmonton & surrounding area *Requirements* * Reliable vehicle and valid driver's license * Comfortable travelling between retail locations * Smartphone with photo and video capabilities * Comfortable using smartphone camera and timer functions * Ability to lift and transport demo materials (up to approximately 25 lbs) * Strong communication and customer service skills * Must be reliable, punctual, and professional *Ideal Candidate* You would be a great fit if you: * Love specialty foods, entertaining, cooking, charcuterie, or hosting * Enjoy connecting with people and making them feel welcome * Have a polished and professional presence * Are confident starting conversations with strangers * Take pride in creating memorable customer experiences * Have experience in retail, customer service, food sampling, hospitality, events, or sales Previous food demo experience is an asset but not required. *Compensation* * $25.00 per hour * Flexible seasonal opportunity * Product training provided * Opportunity for additional future event work *To Apply* Please submit your resume along with a brief note telling us why you would be a great fit for representing a premium specialty food brand.
