Behavioural consultant

Education: Master's degree. Work setting: Clinic. Tasks: Consult with other health care professionals to evaluate treatment plans . Evaluate the effectiveness of counselling and the patient's outcomes. Record observations. Review reports from health care professionals to determine patients' current and potential functioning levels. Write progress reports . Perform administrative tasks. Analyze the patient during the treatments. Apply psychological theory and principles regarding behaviour and mental processes. Maintain accurate records. Assess clients' cognitive, social and emotional barriers to establish adaptation goals. Type of treatment experience: Cognitive therapy. Security and safety: Criminal record check.
