This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your bartending skills while contributing to a welcoming environment that celebrates hospitality and fun. *Duties* * Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and flair, ensuring consistency and quality. * Engage with guests in a friendly, energetic manner, providing excellent customer service that enhances their overall experience. * Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and supplies, adhering to food safety standards. * Manage cash transactions accurately using POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms; handle cash handling responsibilities with integrity. * Monitor guest behavior to promote a safe environment; address any issues promptly and professionally. * Restock bar supplies as needed, including alcohol, mixers, garnishes, and other essentials to ensure smooth operations during busy hours. * Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service flow and uphold high standards of hospitality. *Requirements* * Proven experience as a bartender in a fast-paced restaurant or food industry setting; previous food service experience is highly valued. * Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Micros POS or equivalent; basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately. * Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly while managing multiple tasks efficiently. * Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures to maintain hygiene standards. * Ability to manage time effectively during busy shifts, prioritizing tasks without sacrificing quality or service. * Familiarity with bartending techniques, serving protocols, and beverage recipes; previous experience in hospitality or food industry roles is preferred. * Basic understanding of cashiering procedures and food industry best practices related to alcohol service and responsible beverage service.
