Job description
*Key Responsibilities* * *Driveline & Transmission:* Perform removals, installations, and bench repairs for automatic and manual transmissions, transfer cases, and differentials. * *Diagnostic Troubleshooting:* Utilize scan tools and digital schematics to identify engine, drivability, and electrical issues. * *Mechanical Repairs:* Complete high-quality work on braking systems, steering, suspension, and cooling systems. * *Bay Management:* Maintain a clean, productive workspace and accurately document work performed on digital work orders. *What You Bring* * *Certification:* Valid Ontario 310S license (or recently completed 4th-year apprentice ready for COQ). * *Experience:* 4+ years in a shop environment with a solid understanding of vehicle systems. * *Tools:* A complete set of personal hand tools (we provide the specialized drivetrain and diagnostic gear). * *Reliability:* A strong work ethic and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. * *Driver?s License:* Valid Class G license with a clean driving record. *Why Alliston Transmission?* * *Life Balance:* We value our team?s time.
