Job description
Education: College/CEGEP. Work site environment: Noisy. Work setting: Urban area. Manufacture. Industrial equipment and automation manufacturing. Tasks: Assist in preparing design, drawings and specifications. Assist in the design of moulds, tools, dies, jigs and fixtures. Carry out a limited range of mechanical tests and analyses of machines, components and materials. Computer-aided design (CAD). Prepare standards and schedules. Test machines and equipment. Computer and technology knowledge: Programmable logic controller (PLC). Transportation/travel information: Public transportation is available. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Fast-paced environment. Work under pressure. Physically demanding. Manual dexterity. Attention to detail. Ability to distinguish between colours.
